Downloading Rhapsody Tracks

1. In the Music Guide, find the track or album you wish to purchase.
   
   
2. Click Buy MP3 next to the track or album.
   
   
3. If the track is available to purchase, a purchase confirmation window opens. (If you are not signed in, you will be prompted to do so at this time.)
   
   
4. If you have changed your mind about any tracks or albums on your list, you can uncheck them and click Update to get a new purchase total.
   
   
5. When you're ready, click Continue. The purchase will begin. The credit card associated with your Rhapsody account will be charged for the track or album at this time. The tracks will be added to My Library.

Tip: You can also buy tracks from the Rhapsody MP3 Store.

 

 

You can set your Rhapsody Preferences to always download Rhapsody tracks whenever they are added to My Library, or you can download tracks individually. You need a Rhapsody PremierA level of subscription that allows you to download tracks without purchasing them, and transfer tracks to a portable device wtihout purchasing them. or Rhapsody Premier PlusA level of subscription that allows you to download tracks without purchasing them, and transfer tracks to up to 3 portable devices without purchasing them. subscription to download without purchase.

Set your Rhapsody preferences to always download:

1. From the Rhapsody menus, select Tools > Preferences: My Library.
   
   
2. Select Download tracks to my hard drive whenever possible. The next time you add a track or album to My Library, it will automatically be downloaded (if download rights are available).

Download individual tracks and albums:

1. Select a track or tracks in My Library or the Mixer.
   
   
2. Right-click the selected track(s).
   
   
3. From the right-click menuMenu of alternate commands or choices; available when you click the right mouse button while using an application., select Download Track(s).

The MP3s you buy from Rhapsody are DRMDigital Rights Management. This is a secure technology that enables the copyright owner of a piece of intellectual property (such as a music, video, or text file) to specify what a user can do with it.-free. You can:

• Play them on your computer, whether you are signed in or not.
  
  
• Burn them to CD.
  
  
• Transfer them to almost any portable player, including iPod.

Note: These tracks must be purchased if you want to burn them to a CD. You don't have to buy them before burning. Just drag them to Burn a CD in the Sources area, and the purchase window will open when you start your burn.
