Select File
> Add Media to My Library from the Rhapsody menus.
The "Add Media to My Library"
window will open. If you have in iTunes library, you will be given the chance to import it now.
Select Match your iTunes local tracks to subscription tracks from the Music Guide if you wish. This will cause Rhapsody to look at the local (downloaded) tracks in your iTunes library, and attempt to match them with streamed tracks from the Rhapsody library. When a match is found, the streamed track will be added to My Library.
Click Yes to import your iTunes library.
Click No to skip this step and move on to the next.
After your iTunes library has been imported (or this step has been skipped), the "Local Media Import" window will open.
Select Scan for music in this folder,Scan for photos in this folder, and/or Scan for videos in this folder. You can search for any or all three media types.
Click theBrowse button to change the folder you want to import from.
Deselect Include all subfolders if you want to. (Default: Selected)
Insert a prerecorded CD into
your computer's CD drive. The CD icon and the name of the CD (if applicable) will appear in the Sources area.
If the CD contents do not appear
in the Display area, click the CD icon or CD name in the Sources area
to display them.
If you have Get
CD title and track info online selected in your CD Importing &
Playback Preferences, the CD Info lookup will automatically begin. If
there is a multiple match, you will be prompted to select the correct
one.
To retrieve CD Info manually, click the CD Options button and select Get CD Info. The Get CD... functions only work when you are online.
Select tracks for importing.
All tracks will be selected by default. If there are any specific tracks
you don't want to import, deselect them by clicking the checkmark in
the box to the left of the track.
You can click the box next to the Track column header to select or deslect all tracks.
In the Music Guide, find the
track or album you want to purchase.
Click Buy MP3.
If the track is available to
purchase and download, a "Confirm Your Purchase" window will open.
If you have changed your mind
about purchasing any tracks or albums on your list, you can deselect (uncheck) them
and click Update to get a new
purchase total.
When you are ready, click Complete Purchase . The purchase will
begin. The credit card associated with your Rhapsody account will be charged
for the track or album at this time. The tracks will be added to My Library.
Note:You can also buy Rhapsody music "on the fly," when you are ready to burn a CD or transfer music to a portable player or device.
