- Click in the Rhapsody
Controls or select Tools > Equalizer
in the Rhapsody menus.
The equalizer will open.
- Click (or select) again to hide the equalizer with the current settings in place.

Turns your equalizer on and off; depressed button is on. Note: In some cases, using the equalizer will slow down your computer. Turn the equalizer off to return your computer to its normal speed. |

Presets: A drop-down list with preset custom slider settings (such as Bass Boost, Blues, and Classical). Select a preset to adjust the sliders to that setting. Set the drop-down list to Custom to apply your own equalizer settings. |

Reset: Clears the current setting, and returns all sliders to the middle position. |

The frequency sliders let you adjust the gain (+ or
-) for specific frequency ranges, adjusting audio output to your own preferences. Drag the frequency slider buttons to adjust the levels. |

Gain: Increases or decreases the overall gain of the incoming signal before you adjust it with the equalizer. (Similar to the pre-amp on a stereo system.) |
Some audio (such as MIDI content) will not be affected by the equalizer.
