You can also click Edit, then select (check) Make this playlist public on My Profile so that people viewing your Profile page can see it. Tip: You can share Instant Playlists if you save them as regular playlists.

A Friendly URL is an easy way to find and share an artist with Rhapsody.com. Find an artist's page by typing in the artist name in the address field of your browser, after http://www.rhapsody.com. For example, http://www.rhapsody.com/johnny-cash will take you directly to Johnny Cash's artist page.

If you know the name of a specific album, you can enter that into the address field as well. For instance, http://www.rhapsody.com/johnny-cash/man-in-black will take you to Johnny Cash's "Man In Black" album page.

You can even enter a genre and/or subgenre name into your address field. For example, http://www.rhapsody.com/country will take you to the Country genre page. http://www.rhapsody.com/country/outlaw-country will take you to the Outlaw Country genre page.

You can copy and paste Friendly URLs into emails, IM programs, or on a website or blog to share the music with your friends.

If you enter a term after http://www.rhapsody.com that doesn't match a corresponding Rhapsody page, you will be directed to the Rhapsody.com search field.

After you have created your Profile page, you can share it with your friends by sending them your URL name.

A URL name is a simple way for your friends to find your profile. For example, if you choose "supermusicfan," your Rhapsody Profile URL will be www.rhapsody.com/members/supermusicfan. You can copy the link, and email, blog, or IMInstant Messenger: program used for real-time chat. it to anyone you wish.

To copy and paste your personal URL:

1. Find the "Your Profile" box on the Rhapsody.com Home page or My Rhapsody, and click .
   
   
2. Find your URL on the upper right of your Profile page.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the URL.
   
   
4. Press [CTL] + [C] on your keyboard to copy it.
   
   
5. Press [CTL] + [V] to paste the link into an email, blog, website, or IM.
   
   

To make it easier for your friends to find you, be sure that your Privacy options are set to "Public." Select Allow other members to search for my profile via email to let friends search for your profile using your email address.

To change your Privacy options:

1. Find the "Your Profile" box on the Rhapsody.com Home page or My Rhapsody, and click
   
   
2. Click the Edit button next to your profile icon.
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to the Privacy options, and make your selections.
   
   
   
   
4. Scroll down and click Save when you have finished editing your profile.

Click Rhapsody Online feeds at the bottom of most any Rhapsody.com page to go to the Rhapsody.com RSS FeedsStands for Really Simple Syndication. An RSS feed is a stream of content from a frequently updated website. page. Get updates for Top Albums, Top Artists, Top Tracks, and more.

To find RSS feeds for a specific genre, artist, or album, look for this image on any Rhapsody.com page.

1. To share your RSS feeds, click My Rhapsody Feeds at the bottom of My Rhapsody.
   
   
2. Make sure your Rhapsody Listening History is set to "public." (That's the default.) You can change it to "private" at any time.
   
   
   
3. Click the name of any feed, like Recent Listening History. A new page will open.
   
   
4. Copy the URL in the address bar of the new page.
   
   
   
   
5. Paste the URL into an email to your friends, so they can keep up with your musical tastes and discoveries.

When your friend receives your RSS page, he can subscribe to your page with a number of different readers. He can also click on any track, album, or playlist link to go to that page, and start playback in the Rhapsody.com Player.

A Listening History link looks something like this:

http://feeds.rhapsody.com/user-track-history.rss?rhapUserId=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXuserName=I

If you leave the link the way it is, the feed name will be displayed as "Rhapsody Tracks I Recently Played." However, you can change the userName=I value to your name. For example, if you change the value to userName=Mike+Musicfan, the feed name will be displayed as "Rhapsody Tracks Mike Musicfan Recently Played." That way, your friends won't confuse your Listening History feeds with anyone else's.

Note: Be sure to put a plus sign ( + ) between your first and last name, to insert a space.

No. Only people you send your Listening History feeds to will be able to see your listening history. Of course, if you choose to paste links to your listening history on a website with public access, they will become truly public.

Note: Your listening history is not the same as your Profile page.
