After you sign in, play some Rhapsody.com music that you like, and come back to My Rhapsody. Recommendations start appearing based on what you've been playing.

 

Look below the image to discover all the things you'll find on My Rhapsody.

1. The Features box, located on left side of the My Rhapsody home page, links to a number of features personalized for you:

• Click My Library to view and play Rhapsody music you've bookmarked.
  
  
• Click Create a Playlist to start building your own playlist.
  
  
• Albums for You gives you album recommendations, based on your listening history and your ratings.
  
  
• Click Instant Playlist to get a playlist generated for you by Rhapsody, based on your recent listening history.
  
  
• My Track History displays tracks you have recently listened to.
  
  
• My Charts tracks the music you've been listening to the most.

2. My Playlists shows the playlists you have created and saved. 
   
   

• Click the name of any playlist to view its contents, or edit that playlist.
  
• Click to delete a playlist from your collection (This will not affect the contents of My Library.)
  
  

3. The Your Profile box.

• If you have not yet set up your profile, the button readsCreate a Profile Page.
• If you have created a profile, the button reads Go To My Profile Page.
  
  

4. New Releases. Check out new music that Rhapsody thinks you might like, based on your listening history.
   
   
5. My Rhapsody Feeds and Broadcasts.

• Click to link to RSS feedsStands for Really Simple Syndication. An RSS feed is a stream of content from a frequently updated website. for your personal listening history.
  
  
• Click to add a link to del.icou.us, an online bookmarking service.
  
  

6. What You're Playing displays some of your listening history. 

• Click the Recently Played tab to see the last fifteen tracks you've played.
  
  
• Click the Most Played tab to see the artists, albums and tracks you've listened to the most.
  
  
• Click the Recently Viewed tab to see the pages you've most recently visited.
  
  
• Click Create Instant Playlist to get a playlist made from music you've recently listened to.
  
  
• Click any Play button to listen to that track.
  
  
• Click any Add button to add the track to your Player queue, My Library, or a playlist.
  
  

7. Play My Rated Music.

• Click Create Instant Playlist to create a playlist made from tracks you've rated in Rhapsody. 
  
  
• Click Options to set some rules for your playlist, such as how many tracks you want to include, and filter tracks by rating (for example, include only tracks rated three stars or higher).

Click My Rhapsody Feeds to choose to make your personal RSS feeds private  or choose to share them with your friends. (The default is "public.")

If you choose to make your RSS feeds public, then you can share what you're currently listening to with your friends. Send the links to your feeds to your friends, or paste them in your website or blog. Every time you listen to a new track, your feeds will be updated. Your Listening History feeds include:

• Recently played tracks
  
  
• Recently played albums
  
  
• Recently played artists

A Listening History link looks something like this:

http://feeds.rhapsody.com/user-track-history.rss?rhapUserId=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXuserName=I

If you leave the link the way it is, the feed name displays as "Rhapsody Tracks I Recently Played." However, you can change the userName=I value to your name. For example, if you change the value to userName=Mike+Musicfan, the feed name displays as "Rhapsody Tracks Mike Musicfan Recently Played." That way, your friends won't confuse your Listening History feeds with anyone else's.

Note: Be sure to put a plus sign ( + ) between your first and last name, to insert a space.

 

Copy and paste your links just like you would any other piece of text:

1. Select the link.
2. Press [CTRL] + [C] on your keyboard to copy. (Mac users press [] + [C].)
3. When you are ready to paste your link, press [CTRL] + [V] on your keyboard. (Mac users press [] + [V].)

No. Only people you send your Listening History feeds to can see your listening history. Of course, if you choose to paste links to your listening history on a website with public access, they will become truly public.

Your listening history is not the same as your Profile page.
