The Device Compatibility Report can tell you how your device interacts with Rhapsody, and let you know if you need authorize your device, update your track licenses, reset your device's secure clock, or change settings on your device. See below for details.
- Shows the name of your connected device.
- The first paragraph of the report gives you information about the computer and operating system you are using.
- The second paragraph lets you know if your device supports RealNetworks' Helix , and whether it is compatible with Rhapsody Premier and Rhapsody Premier Plus.
- The third paragraph tells you about your subscription, and whether your device is authorized for use with Rhapsody.
- The fourth paragraph tells you whether you can transfer subscription tracks (Rhapsody tracks that have been downloaded but not purchased) to your device, and whether you can transfer purchased and imported tracks.
- The fifth paragraph tells you if you need to update your subscription track licenses.
- Click the Authorize Device button if the Device Compatibility Report tells you your device is not authorized.
- Click the Update Track Licenses button if the Device Compatibility Report tells you your licenses have lapsed.
- Click the Reset Secure Clock button to reset the firmware clock in your device if the Device Compatibility Report tells you it needs resetting.
- If you have made changes to the status of your device, like changing settings, authorizing, updating track licenses, or resetting your secure clock, click Generate Report to get a new Device Compatibility Report.
- Click Copy Report To Clipboard if you want to paste the report into a text document or an email.
- Click OK when you are finished with the Device Compatibility Report.
