Track Info

1. Select a track or tracks in My Library, the Mixer, a playlist in your collection, or the CD view of the Display area.
   
   
2. Right-click the track(s).
   
   
3. Select Edit Track Info from the right-click menuMenu of alternate commands or choices; available when you click the right mouse button while using an application..
   
   

The "Edit Track Info" window opens.

 

1. In the "Edit Track Info" window, type text into any available field.

• You can replace existing text if you want to
• Use the drop-down menus to edit the Genre fields.
• Click on a star or ban to rate the track.

2. Click More Details to edit more Track Info.

• Type information in the available fields.
• Use the drop-down menu to edit the Mood field, or type in your own entry.

3. Click the Art & Stats tab to view and change the album art, plus statistics including number of plays, file location, and format information.

• You can't edit the statistics on this tab.
• Click Delete to remove the current album art, click Add to browse for new album art.

4. Click the Rights tab to view the track's licensing info. (You can't edit this field.)
   
   
5. When you have finished editing Track Info, click Apply.
   
   
6. Click OK.

Note: When you select multiple tracks, changes are made to all selected tracks. Properties that cannot be changed will be grayed out.

You also can edit some Track Info inline, directly from My Library:

1. Select the track you want to edit.
   
   
2. Click the track name, artist name, album name, or genre.
   
   
   
   
3. Type new information for that field.
   
   
4. Press [ENTER] on your keyboard. Your change will be saved in Track Info.

1. From the "Edit Track Info" window, click the Art & Stats tab.
   
   
   
   
2. If there is album art and you want to change it, click Delete (under the image).
   
   
   
   
3. If there is no album art, or if you deleted the album art, click Add to browse the images on your hard drive(s). Your local folder browser opens.
   
   
4. Browse to find the image you want.
   
   
5. Drag and drop the image you want from your folder to "Track Info" dialog, or browse for more folders until you find the art you want.
   
   (You can use .jpg or .gif files for Rhapsody album art; the art will be automatically resized to fit the window. )
   
   
6. Click Apply.
   
   
7. Click OK.
