Adding Photos and Videos to My Library

1. Select File > Add Media to My Library from the Rhapsody menus.
   
   
2. The "Add Media to My Library" window opens. Select Scan for photos... to add photos to My Library.
   
   
3. Select Scan for videos... to add videos to My Library.
   
   Rhapsody will scan for media in default folders like "My Pictures" and "My Videos." To scan a different folder, click any Browse button.
   
   
4. Select Include all subfolders if you want to.
   
   
5. Click Import.
   
   
6. When the importing process has completed, click Finish. Your photos can be found in the Photos tab of My Library. Your videos will be in the Videos tab.
   
   

1. From the Rhapsody menus, select Tools > Preferences: Watched Folders.
   
   
2. Select Automatically add music..., Automatically add photos..., and Automatically add videos... if you want Rhapsody to check folders for content to import each time you sign in to Rhapsody. Default folders, like My Music, My Photos, and My Videos, will be preselected.
   
   
3. To add more folders for Rhapsody to automatically check, Click the Add Folder button under the Music, Photos, or Videos fields.
   
   
4. Browse for the folder you want to add. Select the folder, and click OK.
   
   The new folder appears in the Folders field. Content will be automatically added from these folders each time you sign into Rhapsody.
   
   
   To remove a watched folder, select the folder you want to delete, and click the Remove Folder button. This will remove the folder from your Watched Folders list, but will not affect the folder itself.

 

To delete photos:

1. Select any photo or group of photos.
   
   
2. Press [DEL] on your keyboard.
   
   
3. If you have Ask for confirmation... selected in My Library preferences, a "Confirm Deletion" window will open.
   
   
4. Select Also delete from my hard drive if you want to remove the photo file from your computer. If you do not want to remove the photo file, leave this box unchecked.
   
   
5. Click Yes to delete the photo.

Warning: If do not have Ask for confirmation... selected in My Library preferences, but you do have Remove from hard drive... selected, then photos, tracks and videos will be removed from your hard drive when you delete them, and you will not be notified first.

 

To delete videos:

1. Select any video or group of videos.
   
   
2. Press [DEL] on your keyboard.
   
   
3. If you have Ask for confirmation... selected in My Library preferences, a "Confirm Deletion" window will open.
   
   
4. Select Also delete from my hard drive if you want to remove the video file from your computer. If you do not wish to remove the video file, leave this box unchecked.
   
   
5. Click Yes to delete the photo.
